Terms and Conditions for use of Pilot CPD Materials

These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") govern the use of the Next Generation Research Supervision Project (RSVP) pilot CPD materials ("Materials") provided for academic, non-commercial purposes as part of the Practitioner Partner pilot evaluation process. By accessing or using the Materials, you ("User") agree to be bound by the terms outlined below. This agreement is made between the University of York (RSVP lead partner) and the user.

1. Permitted Use

The Materials are provided solely for academic, non-commercial use. Users may adapt the Materials for local use to suit their specific educational or institutional context. All adaptations must remain within the scope of the pilot evaluation.

2. Restrictions

The Materials may not be distributed, shared, or circulated beyond the scope of the pilot evaluation. Adaptations of the Materials may not be used for any purpose other than the pilot evaluation. Commercial use, resale, or incorporation into other programs or platforms is not permitted.

3. Attribution

Proper credit must be given to the designated authors of the Materials. Acknowledgment must also be made to the RSVP project in any use, adaptation, or presentation of the Materials.

4. Duration of Access

Access to the Materials is granted for a period of 15 months from 1st October 2025. Continued use beyond this period requires explicit written permission from the RSVP project team (RSVP will be issuing updated materials after reviewing the feedback received during the pilot programme).

5. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the Materials remain with the original owners and the RSVP project. This Agreement does not grant any ownership rights to the User.

6. Liability

The Materials are a work-in-progress and are provided as-is. The User is responsible for its use of the Materials. All warranties, whether express or implied, as to the Materials description, quality, fitness for purpose or non-infringement of third-party intellectual property rights are excluded.

7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Agreement is governed by English law. The English Courts will have exclusive jurisdiction to deal with any dispute.
