COLLECTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION on the website
This website does not collect or store personally identifiable information (such as your e-mail address, name, title or postal address) without your knowledge when you visit our site.
Personally identifiable information is only collected via the website when submitted by your choice, via our ‘Contact Us’ webpage form, or via an events registration process. Once submitted, we retain this information to reply to the enquiry or to process the registration. Your details are not kept on our system unless you ticked the consent box to be added to our newsletter mailing list. In this case, we use your details to contact you with information and updates relating to the RSVP project.
Should you wish to opt out of receiving the newsletter or any other follow-up information, this can be done at any time by clicking the unsubscribe button in the newsletter email, or by emailing a request to us directly at rsvp-admin@york.ac.uk. Please include your original subscription email in this request so that we can successfully remove your details. If you wish to update or modify your contact information at any point, please email us at rsvp-admin@york.ac.uk with your change request and include the subject line should state ‘Update Personal Data’.

WHAT PERSONAL DATA WE COLLECT AND WHY WE COLLECT IT
The sections of the website that may ask for submission of your personal data are as follows:
Contact Form: Name and email details
Purpose: To reply to your enquiry
Mailing list: Name and email details
Purpose: To provide updates and information regarding the activities of the project.
Events Registration: Name, address and email details, and payment details where applicable
Purpose: To process your request for registration at an RSVP hosted event, either online or in person.
WHO WE SHARE YOUR DATA WITH
Our website is hosted by Wix.com, and data submitted via the website pages is stored and hosted at Wix.com. Please refer to Wix.com privacy policies for more information.
RSVP partners with the UK Council for Graduate Education (UKCGE) on webinar and event hosting. If you register for an event on our website, you may be re-directed to the UKCGE event registration page. UKCGE retain this date for handling your registration. The UKCGE privacy policy can be found here – UKCGE Privacy Policy. UKCGE also use the website Eventbrite for handling your event registration and issuing tickets (where applicable). Please see Eventbrite.com for their terms and conditions on data handling.

HOW LONG WE RETAIN YOUR DATA
For users that register on our website (as RSVP consortium members), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
WHAT RIGHTS YOU HAVE OVER YOUR DATA
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
